Game Summary

  • 60 basic levels
  • 30 challenge levels
  • 8 mystery levels
  • Side objectives earn 100 points; completing them as part of normal play is usually not necessary for 3 stars
  • 0 impossible 3 star levels
  • Level S23 (Hard Mode) is very hard to complete for 3 stars; see tips and walkthrough below
  • Level S24 (Hard Mode) is very hard to complete for 3 stars; see tips and walkthrough below
  • When making a latte at the Café, with sprinkles or chocolate, it will require 2 spaces on your inventory tray. If, while making a latte, you completely fill up your tray and then try to add the sprinkles or chocolate to the drink, it will fail, and you end up with a useless drink. Solution: Complete the latte before adding the last item to your tray.
  • Sometimes, boats seem to go missing at the Rental. You send out 5 boats but only 4 return and then the level never ends. It appears that the glitch is when multiple boats return at the same time. You’ll probably notice some flickering on the screen in that area. This does not occur in all instances. Workaround: Don’t send out boats back-to-back. Let some time pass before sending the 2ndboat so 2 boats don’t arrive at the landing area at the same time. And, to be on the safe side, try to clean the boats soon after arrival. This can play havoc when you’re trying for the serve combo, but, unfortunately, until the problem is fixed, this is the best solution that I’ve found.
  • 3 of 11 non-standard achievements cannot be reached in 1 play-through (level points from highest to lowest):
    • “Play minigames at Bookstore”: level 52 = 5 points; levels S25,51,S26 = 4 points; levels 49,50 = 3 points; levels 11,S6,12 = 2 points; levels 9,10,S5 = 0 points
    • “Give stamped library cards”: level 10 = 9 points; level 49 = 7 points; level S5 = 6 points; levels 11,50,S25 = 5 points; levels S6,12 = 3 points; level 52 = 2 points; levels 51,S26 = 1 point; level 9 = 0 points
    • “Give fishing rods at Rental”: level 38 = 8 points; level 39 = 7 points; level S19 = 6 points; levels 37,S20 = 5 points; level 40 = 3 points
  • 0 room upgrades
  • 0 menu upgrades
  • 458 diamonds are achievable with one play-through:
    • 5 diamonds for basic & challenge levels: 3 for 3 stars; 1 for side objective; 1 for critter
    • 1 diamond for each mystery level
    • Note: The 8 diamonds achieved from mystery levels are added to the count for the collectible screen only. They are not added to the “Collect all diamonds” achievement.
  • 458 diamonds are required to purchase 20 items in the collectible screen
  • Scoring Differences between Easy, Normal, and Hard Modes

    • Difference between Normal & Hard scores:
      • 1 star, on average, 50% higher
      • 2 stars, on average, 22% higher
      • 3 stars, on average, 12% higher
