Tip: Check out 5 customers in a row 5 times to get the full 500 points. The final set of 5 is a timing issue. For the set immediately following the first appearance of the card-player (the final set), slow down service to the table customers, so that another customer arrives at the counter before the table customers finish eating.

I cannot complete level 24 in hard mode and get all the mugs. My highest score was 3453/3500. If anyone knows of a video that shows how this level in done properly, let me know. Or if you have some tips, I’d love to hear them.

Difficulty Levels
Differences between the easy, normal, and hard modes of difficulty:
Easy Mode:
- All customers start with 5 hearts.
- Customers’ satisfaction level drops slowly.
- Rats stay visible the longest.
- Rats appear more frequently.
- Level scores are the lowest.
Normal Mode:
- All customers start with 4 hearts. Once served, a heart is added regardless of how many hearts you have. But it may not be full. It will be at the same level prior to being served.
- Customers’ satisfaction level drops faster than easy mode but slower than hard mode.
- Rats stay visible longer than hard mode but less than easy mode.
- Rats appear more frequently than hard mode but less than easy mode.
- Comparing easy to normal mode, level scores are, on average, 13% higher for 1 mug, 14% higher for 2 mugs, and 6% for 3.
Hard Mode:
- All customers start with 4 hearts. Once served, a heart is added regardless of how many hearts you have. But it may not be full. It will be at the same level prior to being served.
- Customers’ satisfaction level drops faster than normal mode.
- Rats stay visible less than normal mode.
- Rats appear less frequently than normal mode.
- Level scores are the highest.
- Comparing normal to hard mode, level scores are, on average, 32% higher for 1 mug, 12% higher for 2 mugs, and 10% for 3.
- Comparing easy to normal mode, level scores are, on average, 50% higher for 1 mug, 28% higher for 2 mugs, and 17% for 3.
