Delicious - Cooking and Romance Guide
Exciting news hits Snuggford when Hollywood movie producers select the town as the setting for their upcoming rom-com. While Emily’s loved ones cheer, uncertainty lingers about whether everything will go according to plan.
Game Summary
- 60 basic levels
- 30 challenge levels
- Side objectives earn 300 points; completing them as part of normal play is usually necessary for 3 stars
- Restocking Action (from the GameHouse guide): When restocking an item, if you click to perform any other action, Emily will move right away and stop restocking. A way around this is to click multiple times on the restocking item, then you can start queuing other actions (picking up items, delivering them, checking out customers, cleaning tables, etc.). Emily won’t leave until each restocking action is complete, but you’ll have increased your efficiency as Emily will automatically start performing those actions once restocking is complete and you’ll be fully restocked!
- In my opinion, level 5-3 is impossible to get 3 stars on a PC in hard mode. The 3 star score is 4960. The 3 star score on mobile devices is less than 4830 and is reachable.
- Level 4-2 (Hard Mode) is very hard to complete for 3 stars; see tips and walkthrough below
- “Complete the first level tutorial” achievement does not work on a PC. It’s unknown whether the same problem exists on mobile. I turned the “Show tutorials” option off when I started my first play-through. Turning it back on, even when starting a new profile, doesn’t make a difference. I have never received this achievement.
- The counts for the juices for the “Upgrade all menu items at the Lovemore Café” achievement are so far off, it’s almost not worth bothering with this one. Again, I must qualify. I tested on a PC. The count works fine up until level 53 when the second juice is added. Side note: For me, the counter on the blue juice was higher than the other two.
Game counter Actual count
Level 53 1 7
Level 54 4 5
Level 6-2 3 4
Level 55 5 13
Level 6-3 2 4
Level 57 2 12
Level 6-4 4 7
Level 58 0 9
Level 6-5 2 28
Level 59 1 17
Level 60 4 14
- The “Replay levels” achievement requires you to replay 100 levels. Replaying every level in the game nets you 90 replays. A bit excessive, don’t you think. If I replay a game, I start a new profile, usually at a different difficulty level. But, of course, this doesn’t help with this achievement.
- The “Don’t serve customers” achievement requires you to have 100 angry customers. Again, somewhat excessive. However, the best level to achieve this is level 5-3. Don’t serve any minigame customers. This results in 30 angry customers per play-through, and customers get angry quickly.
- Only 1 of the 6 non-standard achievements cannot be reached in 1 play-through (level points from highest to lowest):
- “Complete minigames at Emily’s Place” (33/40 achievable in 1 play-through): levels 1-4,1-5,10 = 4 points; levels 4,1-2,5,6,1-3,8,9 = 3 points; levels 1,2,1-1,3,7 = 0 points
- 450 diamonds are achievable with one play-through: 3 for 3 stars; 1 for side objective; 1 for critter
- 450 diamonds are required to purchase all 27 items in the collectible screen
- Scoring Differences between Easy, Normal, and Hard (on PC)
- Difference between Easy & Normal scores
- 1 star, equal
- 2 stars, on average, 439 points higher (median is 420 points higher)
- 3 stars, on average, 180 points higher (median is 190 points higher)
- Difference between Normal & Hard scores
- 1 star, on average, 942 points higher (median is 965 points higher)
- 2 stars, on average, 89 points higher (median is 125 points higher)
- 3 stars, on average, 115 points higher (median is 170 points higher)

- Room Upgrades
- The most important room upgrades to purchase ASAP are:
- Increase tray size: available in all 6 rooms
- Server moves faster: available in 5 rooms only; not available in Emily’s Place Move Set (room 5)
- For level 4-2, especially in hard mode, you must have these additional room upgrades: Captivating Aromas (satisfaction declines slower while waiting to check out); Darts (overall satisfaction declines slower); Sunny Weather (satisfaction declines slower while waiting for order).
- Some nice to have room upgrades:
- In Napoli’s (room 2), Notepad (3 points increase for 2 in a row, and 9 points increase for 3 in a row for both the “serve-in-a-row” and “clean-in-a-row” bonuses)
- In Happy Funtime Land (room 3), Trophy (side objective points increase from 300 to 420 points)
- In Lovemore Café (room 6), Heart-shaped Notepad (3 points increase for 2 in a row, 6 points increase for 3 in a row, and 9 points increase for 4 in a row for both the “serve-in-a-row” and “clean-in-a-row” bonuses)
- All room upgrades are achievable with 1 play-through: upgrades cost $256,090; 1 play-through with 3 stars nets $256,500
- The most important room upgrades to purchase ASAP are:
- Menu Upgrades
- Emily’s Place (room 1)
- “Cereal Bowl” cannot be upgraded with 1 play-through (8/10). It doesn’t seem to be part of a group so counts per level are repeatable: level 7 = 3 points; levels 6,9 = 2 points; level 1-5 = 1 points; levels 1,2,1-1,3,4,1-2,5,1-3,1-4,8,10 = 0 points
- “Pastry Box” can be controlled by you. When you reach level 2, don’t serve any customers. Select all pastry; delete them from your tray; refill from pastry box; repeat until you’ve selected the pastry box 27 times. Restart level. This allows you to upgrade the pastry box, which makes restocking twice as fast.
- Napoli’s (room 2)
- “Candles” may not be upgraded with 1 play-through (≈18/20). It is in the same group as napkins. The group points are repeated but the points are somewhat randomly distributed across its items. See “Loudspeakers” example below. “Candles” are not introduced until level 17, so avoid levels 11 thru 2-3. Best bets: levels 17 and 2-4.
- “Cutlery Box” can be controlled by you. When you reach level 11, don’t serve any customers. Select all cutlery; delete them from your tray; refill from cutlery box; repeat until you’ve selected the cutlery box 30 times. Restart level. This allows you to upgrade the cutlery box, which makes restocking twice as fast.
- Happy Funtime Land (room 3)
- “Loudspeakers” may not be upgraded with 1 play-through (≈18/20). It is in the same group as script, towel, and makeup powder. The group points are repeated but the points are somewhat randomly distributed across its items. For example, the group gets 33 points in level 30, but the points are different per item:
- Emily’s Place (room 1)
Play 1 Play 2 Play 3
Script 16 14 14
Towel 5 6 5
Makeup 7 8 8
Loudspeaker 5 5 6
(Total) 33 points 33 points 33 points
“Loudspeakers” are not introduced until level 28, so avoid levels 21 thru 3-4. Best bets: level 28.
- “Grill” and “Fridge” can be controlled by you. When you reach level 21 for the fridge and level 23 for the grill, don’t serve any customers. Select all cold drinks/sausages; delete them from your tray; refill from fridge/grill; repeat until you’ve selected the fridge/grill 35 times. Restart level. This allows you to upgrade the fridge/grill, which makes restocking twice as fast for the fridge, and doubles the restocking rate for the grill.
- Taste of Snuggford (room 4)
- “Salty snacks” (≈26/30), “kid souvenirs” (≈28/30), and “tea” (≈24/30) may not be upgraded with 1 play-through. Each of these items are part of different groups: “salty snack” in a group with festival sweets; “kid souvenirs” in a group with Snuggford and festival souvenirs; “tea” in a group with cold drink and slushies. Group points are repeated but the points are somewhat randomly distributed across its items. See “Loudspeakers” example above.
“Salty snacks” are not introduced until level 38, so avoid levels 31 thru 4-4. Best bet: level 38.
“Kid souvenirs” are not introduced until level 37, so avoid levels 31 thru 4-3. Best bet: level 37.
“Tea” is not introduced until level 37, so avoid level 31 thru 4-3. Best bet: lever 37.
- “Fryer” and “Sweet potato fryer” can be controlled by you. When you reach level 31 for the fryer and level 38 for the sweet potato fryer, don’t serve any customers. Select all fries/deep-fried snacks; delete them from your tray; refill from fryer; repeat until you’ve selected the fryer 45 times and the sweet potatoes fryer 30 times. Restart level. This allows you to upgrade the fryers, which makes restocking twice as fast.
- Emily’s Place Movie Set (room 5)
- “Waffles” (≈19/25) and “Charming gifts” (≈14/30) may not be upgraded with 1 play-through. Both of these items are part of different groups: “waffles” in a group with chocolate dessert, pastries, sweets, and cheesecake; “charming gifts” in a group with sweet gifts. Group points are repeated but the points are somewhat randomly distributed across its items. For example, the gift group gets 11 points in level 50, but the points are different per item:
Play 1 Play 2 Play 3
Sweet Gifts 4 5 4
Charming Gifts 7 6 7
(Total) 11 points 11 points 11 points
“Waffles” are not introduced until level 48, so avoid levels 41 thru 5-4. Best bet: levels 48 and 5-5.
“Charming gifts” are not introduced until level 46, so avoid levels 41 thru 45. Best bet: level 50 and 46.
- “Boxed sweets” and “Pastry box” can be controlled by you. When you reach level 41 for the boxed sweets and level 48 for the pastry boxes, don’t serve any customers. Select all sweets/pastries; delete them from your tray; refill from boxed sweets/pastry box; repeat until you’ve selected each 40 times. Restart level. This allows you to upgrade the boxed sweets/pastry box, which makes restocking twice as fast.
- Lovemore Café (room 6)
- “Sweet Sandwiches” (≈28/30) and “Juices” (≈40/45) may not be upgraded with 1 play-through. “Sweet Sandwiches” are in a group with macarons, fruits, cookies, carrot cake, and ice cream bars. Group points are repeated but the points are somewhat randomly distributed across its items. See “Loudspeakers” example above.
“Sweet Sandwiches” are not introduced until level 56, so avoid levels 51 thru 55. Best bet: level 57.
There is an error the counting of juices. The game counts are considerably lower than the actual counts. The error doesn’t appear until the 2nd juice is offered (level 53). For a repeatable count, use level 51 = 6 points; level 6-1 = 3 points; level 52 = 2 points.

Delicious – Cooking and Romance - Level 4-2 Walkthrough (Hard mode; 3 stars)
Tips:
- All menu items must be upgraded.
- Five of the 6 room upgrades must have been purchased: Energy Drink; Captivating Aromas; Bigger Tray; Darts; Sunny Weather
- Focus on check-out bonuses (370 bonus points possible)
- Clean 3 tables back-to-back twice. Before starting each cleaning combo, have 2 cotton candies on your tray. While you’re cleaning, 2 customers arrive, each requesting cotton candy and another item. As soon as both of them have ordered, serve them, even if you’re still cleaning. The queueing function will stop their hearts from decreasing. (50 bonus points)
- Only do serving combos when 2 customers are very close to being checked-out: the 3 patience room upgrades can only handle so much. Throughout the game, you get less points from serving bonuses than checking out bonuses.
- Always try to have 1 cotton candy on your tray. I also use the cotton candy to position Emily near the register; in this case, the cotton candy will burn.
- Get 3 stars on all minigames: by missing even 1 star, you lose 20 points.
- Try to follow this sequence:
- Check out 4, then 3, then 4.
- Clean 3 tables (with 2 cotton candies on tray).
- Check out 3, then 3, then 4, then 4.

- Check out 3, then 2.
